Electrical System
Like many of us that own e21's, I HATE the OEM wiring/fuse panel system. I have decided to completely re-wire this car.
Here's an overview of what will be going on:
1. In the end the car will be wired like a U.S. based hot rod or muscle car.
2. The car will have an integrated security/keyless star system.
3. Electric door locks.
4. Electric windows (If I can find suitable mechanisms)
5. Rear mounted battery
6. Upgraded tail lights
7. Integrating the e36 engine harness into the new modern harness/fuse panel.
8. All new gauges as shown on the Interior page.
I will be using a 21 circuit kit from Speedway Motors. It appears very complete and the instructions seem easy enough to follow.
